2019 AgEducator Scholarship Program 

The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement will be awarding $25,000 in academic scholarships to mid-Atlantic area teachers that are looking to obtain an advanced degree in agriculture or obtain continuing education credits.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility Requirements: The Farm Credit Foundation For Agricultural Advancement 2019 Teacher Scholarship Program is offered by Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement (the “Sponsor” or, “Foundation”) and is open to applicants (each, an “Applicant”) who are legal residents of the state of DELAWARE (DE), or the state of MARYLAND (MD), residing within the MD county of: Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dorchester, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Queen Anne’s, Somerset, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico, or Worcester; or the state of PENNSYLVANIA (PA), residing within the PA county of: Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, or Schuylkill; or the state of VIRGINIA (VA), residing within the VA county of: Accomack, Clarke, Frederick, Northampton, Page, Shenandoah, or Warren; or the state of  WEST VIRGINIA (WV), residing within the WV county of: Berkeley, Jefferson, or Morgan; who are U.S. citizens and who are middle school or high school teachers. The applicant must be planning to obtain an advanced degree in agriculture or, obtain continuing education credits. Officers, Directors, and employees of the Sponsor, MidAtlantic Farm Credit, and their subsidiaries, affiliates, their agents, press/media representatives, and the immediate family members of these entities (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter.  

Awards:  There will be a total of ten (10) $2,500 scholarships awarded. The total amount of Scholarships to be awarded is $25,000.

Application Process: Applications will be accepted beginning Friday, August 1, 2019 through Friday, September 27, 2019 (the “Application Period”). 

Notification:  Applicants will be notified of selection decision by November 8, 2019.
